    • CE DIRECTIVES

    Situation of MICRO products about the directives and the CE marking:

    In MICRO we attentive follow the changes experienced by the standards and directives, offering at any time our products in compliance with currently valid requirements.
    Most pneumatic products are not subject to any CE directive and consequently cannot be identified with the CE mark.

     

    1. Machinery directive 2006/42/CE

    Our pneumatic components are not covered by the scope of application of the machinery directive, which are not considered machines or partly completed machines, nor are they safety components. For this reason, they must not be furnished with the CE marking in accordance with the machinery directive. CETOP in the position paper “PP07” has made a clear statement in this sense.

    Pneumatic products manufactured by Micro are in accordance with the standards: EN983 “Safety of machinery – Safety requirements for fluid power systems and their components – Pneumatic” and ISO4414 “Pneumatic fluid power – General rules and safety requirements for systems and their components”.

    The components as supplied by ourselves intended to be assembled in a machine covered by the machinery directive, can not be put into service until the machine in which they are incorporated, has been declared in conformity with the requirements of the directive on machinery.

    2. Pressure equipment directive 2014/68/CE

    This directive applies to the design, manufacture, testing and conformity assessment of pressure equipments with a maximum allowable pressure greater than 0.5 bar. Identification with the CE mark is mandatory for products which exceed a certain pressure per unit of volume or pressure per unit of diameter.

    Micro pneumatic products comply with the requirements of this directive and a declaration stating this is available.

    3. Low voltage directive 2006/95/CE

    This directive specifies the safety objectives for electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits. It is a compulsory directive applied to all electrical products which operate from 50V to 1000V AC and from 75V to 1500V DC operating voltage, and have been identified with the CE mark since 1st January 1997. Corresponding declarations of conformity are available.

    4. Electromagnetic compatibility directive 2004/108/CE

    This directive regulates the compatibility of equipment regarding the EMC. One of the objectives of this directive is to guarantee the free movement of devices and to create an acceptable electromagnetic environment in the community territory.

    It is a compulsory directive applied to all electronic and electronic-pneumatic products, which must be identified with the CE mark since 1st January 1996, an appropriate declaration of conformity is available.
